In the inner-city Melbourne suburb of Cremorne, Balmain House presents as an exercise in balance, where architecture and furnishing operate in considered alignment. A new build, with architecture by Auhaus and interior design by GOLDEN, the residence establishes a calm spatial rhythm through measured volumes, soft light and a finely tuned material palette – an environment that called for an equally disciplined interior response.
The Balmain by GOLDEN features a 3 metre high Zen FPS50 Steel Pivot Door with custom rebated marble half moon pull handles — a bold architectural statement that defines the arrival experience from the outset.
Paired with a 3 metre transom window, the entry draws natural light deep into the concrete foyer, balancing strength, scale and refinement in one resolved composition.
A considered threshold, designed to leave a lasting impression.
